Access in Summary
New Street train station is 400 metres from here and there are bus stops in both adjoining Streets.
Car Park and Drop Off
There are two accessible spaces directly outside the Back to Backs location, these are not, however, exclusive to visitors to the attraction. There is no dropped kerb available from the accessible spaces. There are plenty of City Centre car parks very close by on Pershore Street.
Access at Entrance
Entry is directly from the pavement on Hurst Street into the Reception Office. It has level access as does the Sweet Shop on the corner.
The Reception area is busy but there is plenty of information available and staff are very helpful. Tours can be booked from here.
Admission to the property is by guided tour only. These start every 15 minutes. It is essential to book tours in advance to avoid disappointment by telephoning 0121 666 7671. An alternative tour on the ground floor only is frequently available when booking in advance.
This room is available for all visitors but is on the first floor and is accessed by steep stairs only. An alternative smaller interactive room is available on the ground floor.
Access to all areas
This is an historical building and accessibility is limited to the ground floor area only. Every effort has been made to ensure as much as possible can be accessed by all customers.
Toilets are available in the Courtyard area.
