Access in Summary
Car Parking/Drop Off
There is a car park located just outside the main entrance. The car park is on level ground and there are a number of spaces all within a short distance of the entrance. There are also nine accessible parking spaces which are the closest to the entrance and the route to the nearest dropped kerb that provides access to the building is clearly marked.
The nearest bus stop is within 200 metres of the centre and the route from here is accessible. The bus stop is located on Bentley Street.
Access into main building
Access into the centre is via St Hugh's Avenue which is a level paved street. The entrance area outside is level and accessible leading up to two sets of double automatic sliding doors.
The main reception has a low level counter and there is a large seating area. The seats are stable and there is sufficient room between them for the passage of wheelchairs. There is a good level of lighting around the reception desk and the seating area. There is an induction loop system in place that is well signed.
Access to all areas
Circulation around the centre is generally very good and clear widths are adequate. Doors are all wide enough for the passage of wheelchairs.
The staff at the Cleethorpes Primary Care Centre are very helpful and willing to help. There are no alternative languages spoken.
