Station
Manchester Deansgate Station is located on Whitworth Street West on the Eastern side of the City Centre. The Station is relatively small having only two platforms which are both accessible for wheelchair users, people with mobility impairments, parents with pushchairs and people with large luggage. Deansgate Station provides excellent transport links for Manchester’s GMex Centre.
Platforms
The platforms are accessed via either steep ramps or accessible lifts from the Ticket Office/Concourse. Both platforms have seating areas and sheltered seating. Both platforms have had induction loops installed providing assistance with Station Announcements.
Interchange between platforms is via a subway running under the railway lines and the same ramps or lifts from the Ticket Office. There is a level interchange route between the Station via platform 1 and the Gmex Metro tram station over a footbridge which crosses Whitworth Street West.
Ticket Office
The Ticket office is located on a small concourse. The ticket office has one service window, during rush hour a portable gate line is used in the Concourse collecting and selling tickets. The ticket office is open between Mon-Sat 06.10-23.50, and Sun 08.10-23.35.

Arriving and Departing the Station
The Station has 2 entrances one located on Whitworth Street West and one at its junction with Deansgate. Access to the Ticket Hall from the Whitworth Street West entrance is via a ramp. Access from the Deansgate entrance includes a set of multi stairs.
There are no Car Parking Facilities attached to the Station however customers may be able to use the Gmex Car Park from which there is a level access route to Deansgate Station.

The concourse had a single telephone, information point and accessible toilet facilities (RADAR KEY required).
