Accommodation
The hotel offers four accessible rooms that are all located on the first floor which is where the entrance and reception is found so there is no need to use the lifts to reach the rooms once at reception. All have connecting rooms with ensuite bathrooms which include an accessible shower and toilet.
Car Parking/Drop Off
There is a car park at the front of the hotel which is on a lower level than the entrance and the only route up to the front of the building involves using steps. There are no accessible parking spaces within the car park. There are two accessible parking spaces located on the access road that runs along the outside of the hotel close to the main entrance which provides level access. There is a drop off point located directly outside of the hotel entrance.
Public Transport
The nearest transport point to the hotel is the underground station inside Heathrow Terminal 4. The station is accessible and there is a walkway that takes you from the terminal which is well signed from within the airport.
Access into Hotel
The hotel is located next to Terminal 4 at Heathrow airport. The roads surrounding this are quite busy so travelling to the hotel by car is the easiest route. There is an access road running along the front of the hotel and a large automatic revolving door at the entrance.
Circulation
The circulation around the hotel is very good. Corridor widths are adequate and the doors around the hotel are suitable for a wide range of users. All levels are served by lifts and their is a separate door that only goes to the lower ground level where there are additional conference rooms and the Living Well Health club.
Reception
The reception desk can be found immediately in front of you as you enter the hotel. There is a seating area provided and the lighting is sufficient. The reception disk also has an induction loop that is well signed. There is a concierge desk located adjacent to reception. Both of the desks do not offer a lower level of counter, however there is a lower desk that is used when required.
Bars
Dancers Bar is located just behind the reception. It is a quiet bar that has an open plan entrance and a generous seating area with various styles at seat available.
Restaurants
There are three different places where it is possible to eat all on the same level and very close together. Oscars restaurant is located close to the reception desk on level access and there is an open plan entrance. There is a good level of lighting and various seating areas. The Brassiere is located past Dancers Bar and Oscars providing food including a self service buffet which is accessible. Again the entrance is open plan and the route from reception is level. Finally there is Zen Oriental restaurant that is not owned by the hotel and is located near to reception however just inside the entrance there are steps leading to the seating area.
Health Club
The living well Health Club is located on the lower ground level and can be accessed via the lift. There are two entrances that are both accessible and both lead into the main reception area. There is a gym available that is open plan and a swimming pool that offers men's, ladies and an accessible changing cubicle. The entrances to all of these facilities are accessible and there is a hoist that is used for the swimming pool that staff are trained to use. In addition there is a beauty room that offers various treatments. There is also a unisex sauna and steam room that is not accessible as there is a step leading up. Within the gym there is also a machine that has been specifically designed for wheelchair uses.
Business Facilities
The hotel has a number of different conference suites and meeting rooms which are all accessible. The majority are found on the lower ground level and can be accessed via the lift. There are also some on the main entrance level that are located close to the reception desk. In addition there is a business centre that is on the lower ground level and is accessible.
Staff: Languages spoken
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and always on hand for assistance. There are staff members originating from around 49 countries so a number of different languages are spoken.
