Accommodation
The hotel has two accessible rooms both located on the ground floor a short distance from the main public areas. One of the rooms is interconnecting and both rooms have accessible ensuites with baths.
Car Parking/Drop Off
The hotel has a generous size car park with six accessible spaces situated close to the entrance. The accessible spaces accommodate side and rear loading. The hotel entrance is a short distance from the spaces on level access.
Public Transport
There is a bus stop on Hartford Road which is approximately 5 - 10 minutes from the hotel. The route to the hotel is uneven in places and assistance would be advised, particularly for wheelchair users.
Access into Hotel
The entrance is approached from the car park. The approach is level up to the entrance and the immediate entrance has steps or a ramp. The doors to the entrance are automatic and there are two sets which lead directly into the reception lobby.
Circulation
There is step free access to all areas within the hotel and all floors can be accessed by lift. There is good lighting and a good level of visual contrast throughout. All areas are identified by signage. Supplementary directional signage is positioned in strategic locations throughout. With the exception of the Academy Conference Centre the main public areas are open plan.
Reception
The reception counter is not of an accessible height however staff will deal with check ins and other queries on the customer side of the counter or in the nearby lounge area. The reception lobby is relatively small but this does open out into a larger lounge area. The reception has induction loop facilities available.
Bars
The hotel has a large lounge area which is a popular meeting venue. The bar lounge is a short distance from reception and close to the toilets. There is a good range of seating available and there is a full table service in operation.
Restaurants
Traders restaurant is close to reception and the bar. The restaurant has an open plan entrance and offers a meet and greet and full table service. There is a self service counter which is accessible however there is also staff assistance available at all times. The restaurant is bright and spacious and offers a good level of circulation.
Business Facilities
The Academy Conference and Training Centre is a spacious venue with up to 10 room formats available accommodating up to 140 delegates in a reception style. The rooms afford a good level of circulation and induction facilities are available.

The hotel has a good compliment of staff available 24/7. Staff assistance is available throughout the hotel and there is a range of languages spoken including: Czech, Dutch , English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, and Turkish. It is advisable to check with the hotel in advance should a particular language be required.
