Accommodation

There are 4 accessible rooms available over two floors, all with connecting rooms. None of the rooms have a hoist facility however there is a procedure in place to obtain a hoist if necessary. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms with an accessible toilet and shower.

Public Transport

Camden tube station is within 300m of the hotel however the route to the hotel does involve a inch step where the kerb has not been dropped enough. This would also apply to the route from the nearest bus stop which is on Camden High Street opposite the underground station.

Access into Hotel

Access to the hotel is gained via Jamestown Road which is just off Camden High street. There is a level pavement outside of the entrance door and the surrounding area is also level. There are double automatic entry doors that open inwards on approach

Circulation

The general circulation around the hotel is very good. The corridors are all of an adequate width and doors are wide enough for a wide range or users. They are also generally easy to open.

Reception

The reception counter has a single level which is 1.1m high and is well lit and easy to find as you enter the hotel. There are a number of seats available in a range of styles. There are both fixed and portable induction loops available that are well signed.

Bars

The lounge bar is located adjacent to the reception desk only a short distance away. This is a fairly quiet area and there is a wide range of seating available. The bar is directly inside the hotel lobby area and there are no doors to negotiate. Food and drink are usually ordered at the bar, however staff are willing to bring it to the customers table.

Restaurants

The hotel restaurant is on the mezzanine level and can be accessed directly from the lift that is next to reception. The restaurant is quiet and orders are taken in the evening. There is also a breakfast buffet service available with a counter at an accessible height. The lighting is sufficient in all areas of the restaurant and there are also high chairs available.

Health Club

There is a small gym facility that can be found on the basement level of the hotel. The mini gym is open 24 hours a day but is kept locked. Guests would need to obtain a key card from reception to gain access. There are three exercise machines available.

Business Facilities

The hotel has a variety of conference rooms and a banquet room. The Suffolk Wharf suite is accessed via the ground floor and has three levels. There are two conference suites on the basement level and three suites on the mezzanine level that are easily accessed via the lift next to the reception.
