Accommodation
There are 8 accessible rooms, 2 of which have connecting rooms. Hoists are not available in any of these rooms, but all have accessible ensuite bathrooms with showers but no baths.
Car Parking/Drop Off
The car park is in the basement. There are 9 accessible parking bays located near the lift lobby. Reception can be access via these lifts.
Public Transport
There is a bus stop on the some side as the hotel. The route to the hotel is accessible, there is only one crossing point to which has a dropped kerbs and tactile paving.
Access into Hotel
The approach to the main entrance is down the side of the hotel, the pathway is on level access, but it narrows at one stage. The entrance door is a double sliding door with level access in to the entrance area. The entrance area has good circulation.
Circulation
The general circulation of the hotel is very good it has good levels of lighting and signage
Bars
The bar is open plan and has good levels of circulation. The bar is quiet and offers table service as well as servings snacks. The entrance to the bar is open plan, to get to the bar from reception is just a short walk. The bar is visible from the reception area. Seating in the bar area is suitable for a wide range of users, seats can be moved to allow wheelchair access if necessary. The lighting in the bar is suitable for its intended use.
Restaurants
The restaurant, which has a buffet service, is situated next to the bar area. The buffet counter is at a suitable height for a wheelchair user. The entrance to the restaurant is open plan, from the reception area it is a short distance. The seating is suitable for a wide range of users, seats are not fixed so can be moved if necessary. The lighting is suitable for its intended use.
Health Club
The mini gym is on the ground floor. There is one entrance to the gym, through a single door which is suitable for all users. The gym has no pool, sauna, or changing facilities.
Business Facilities
The conference rooms are located on the first floor these are accessible via lifts only. The conference room is entered through double doors which open outwards, these doors are suitable for all users.
Staff: Languages spoken
All staff are very helpful and will assist customers by taking payments at the table or by coming to the front of the reception area. Staff can also assist with luggage and help customers to their rooms. Staff speak a number of languages including Spanish, French, Lithuanian, Polish.
