Accommodation
There are eighteen accessible bedrooms located two per floor close to the lifts and disabled refuge points. Each room has an accessible en-suite bathroom fitted with a roll in shower.
Car Parking/Drop Off
There is a secure independent car park located next to the hotel. Level access from car park requires entering onto the road as there are no dropped kerbs. The drop off point is situated directly outside the hotel entrance and on a level access.
Public Transport
The nearest transport point to the hotel is Royal Victoria Docklands Light Railway station. This is approximately ten minutes walk from the hotel. At present there is no accessible route from the station. This is owing to local construction and development works.
Access into Hotel
The hotel entrance is on Western Gateway and is visible upon approach. There is level access to the hotel entrance and into the reception lobby. There are two sets of automatic doors into the reception lobby.
Circulation
This is a modem hotel which has been designed well to make full use of the space whist maintaining a light open plan environment with a good level of circulation. All areas lead from the reception lobby and are on level access. Upper floors are accessible by lifts or stairs.
Reception
There is a large reception counter which is prominent upon entering the lobby. The reception has a low counter which is at the far end next to the lifts. An induction loop and portable chip and pin machines are available. The lobby area is bright and spacious and has a seating area opposite to reception.
Bars
The bar is adjacent to reception on level access. The bar has a seating area with tables and seating for all users. A table service is available for customers who are unable to use the bar.
Restaurants
The restaurant is located to the rear of the bar. The restaurant has on open plan entrance which has a ramp leading up from the bar. The restaurant serves breakfast on an assisted self service basis. A full table service is in operation at all other times. The restaurant is bright and spacious and affords a good level of circulation. There is a range of tables and seating for all users including the availability of a highchair. A portable chip and pin machine is also available.
Staff: Languages spoken
The hotel has a good complement of staff who are on hand to offer assistance 24 hours a day. There are a number of languages spoken at the hotel although it is advisable to check in advance should a particular language be required.
