Car Park / Drop Off
There are two parking areas for this Reserve. They are located at the start of each route. Both are on surfaces consisting of compacted and loose stone.
Ribblehead Quarry Walk
Ribblehead Quarry is situated next to Ribblehead train station on the Settle-Carlisle railway. The quarry is at the base of Ingleborough Hill in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Because of the difficult nature of the terrain the Reserve is not recommended for disabled access.
Limestone Walk
The Ingleborough Hill is one of the famous Three Peaks in the Yorkshire Dales, the others being Pen-y-Ghent and Whernside.
There are typical stone stiles, found throughout the Yorkshire Dales, on this route which may make access difficult for some visitors.
The pathway becomes liable to standing water in places, there are stone slabs laid into the path to assist visitors along the pathway.
