Accommodation
There are eight accessible rooms which are all located close to the lifts. All of the bedrooms are interconnecting and have an accessible en-suite fitted with a bath.
Car Parking/Drop Off
There is a car park in the basement of the hotel which is operated on a valet parking basis. Guests arriving at the hotel can drop off at the front entrance and have their car valet parked. If access to the car park is required there is a lift located at the reception lobby, providing level access to the basement car park. There is a drop of point directly outside the hotel entrance on level access.
Public Transport
There are two bus stops located on Old Park Lane. Which are both within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel entrance. The routes from the bus stops are on level access. Care should be taken when travelling to the hotel as the route crosses two roads, which are without designated pedestrian crossing points.
Access into Hotel
The hotel entrance is located on Park Lane. There is level access up to the hotel entrance. The entrance consists of three double doors which open into the entrance lobby. On approaching the entrance the set of doors to the right are automatic, activated by a sensor control on the adjacent wall. Upon entering the lobby there is a platform lift which is located next to the automatic door. The lift provides level access to a large reception lobby. Door staff are on hand at all times should assistance be required.
Circulation
This is a large prestigious hotel which is bright and spacious. All of the floors are accessible and afford a good level of circulation. There are six lifts located within the lobby area which service all floors.
Reception
There is a large reception counter which is the main feature of the hotel lobby. The counter is not accessible and therefore members of staff will offer assistance on the customers side of the counter or at a nearby desk. The reception counter has an induction loop which is available on request. The Concierge is located on the opposite side to the reception and again staff are on hand to offer assistance as the counter is not of an accessible height.
Bars
There is a lounge bar located to the side of the hotel lobby. The bar has a large seating area with a range of seating to suit all users. There is a good compliment of staff providing a full table service. Drinks are also available in the Club Lounge for guests staying on a club basis. The Club Lounge is located on the 7th floor and there is also a full table service in operation.
Restaurants
There are two restaurants in the hotel. Theo Randall restaurant is located next to the reception. There is a bright entrance which is on level access. The entrance has a single glass automatic door. The restaurant has seating and tables to suit all users and operates a full table service. The Cookbook Cafe can be found by passing through the lobby area and past the bar and lounge. The restaurant is used for breakfast which is on an assisted self service basis. A full table service is in operation at all other times. This restaurant also has tables and chairs to suit all users. Guests staying on a club basis can take snacks and light meals in the club lounge. This is on the seventh floor and accessible by lift. A full table service is on operation.
Health Club
There is a fitness studio and a spa located on the first floor. The fitness room has a range of equipment and staff assistance is available. There is an accessible toilet within the room. The spa has a number of treatment rooms including an accessible room with an accessible shower and toilet facilities.
Business Facilities
The mezzanine floor is dedicated to meetings and events. The floor is on level access via the lifts. There are 16 meeting rooms of a variety of sizes which can be set up in a number of formats. The mezzanine floor includes a large ballroom which can accommodate up to 750 people in a reception format. There are toilets located on the mezzanine floor including an accessible toilet. There is a reception desk which is operated at all times when events are in progress. There is also an electronic way finding guide positioned at key points on the mezzanine floor. Induction loop facilities are available and additional services can be booked in advance.
Staff: Languages spoken
The hotel have a good complement of staff who are on hand to offer assistance. 24 hour assistance is available via the Concierge. There are a number of languages spoken at the hotel although it is advisable to check in advance should a particular language be required.
