Access into Entrance
Jurys Inn Chelsea is a stunning hotel located near the fashionable Kings Road. There is level access to the hotel entrance on Imperial Road. Entry is via double automatic sliding doors.
Reception
The reception counter is on the ground floor of the building within 5 metres of the main entrance. Reception staff can offer a baggage storage service. There are foreign currency exchange facilities available and safety deposit boxes. There is a dedicated accessible section of the reception desk to the left when viewed from the front. A computer providing internet access is available for a nominal charge in the hotel reception lobby.
Access to All Areas
Two passenger lifts situated in the reception lobby provide access to all floors. The lifts are modern and suitable for most visitors. Internal stairs can also be used to access upper floors.
Circulation around the hotel is generally very good. Corridors to bedroom accommodation have adequate clear widths for all users. Internal doors in the main corridor are held open on automatic fire closing devices.
Accommodation
The hotel offers 12 accessible bedrooms which can be arranged in both single and double format. Circulation in the accessible rooms is generally good. Facilities include assistance alarms, accessible wardrobes, televisions with teletext and in two of the rooms automatic bedroom doors with remote control.
All accessible bedrooms have en suite facilities with assistance alarms and grab rails. En suite facilities in some rooms have roll in showers with tip up seats. Other accessible rooms have en suite baths. The baths have grab rails but no formal transfer area.
The Hotel has a total of 172 guest rooms on several floors all of which are accessible by lift. The rooms are available in single, twin, double and some family rooms. All rooms have satellite television, a work desk, hair dryers and are air conditioned. Rooms partially adapted for those with mobility impairments are available in addition to wheelchair friendly rooms.
All bedrooms have en suite bathroom facilities. The vast majority of rooms have a bath with shower over.
