Main Hospital Entrance
The main entrance of the hospital has a double set of doors that slide open automatically on approach. There is level access leading to the doors and the threshold is level.
Atrium
The Atrium area is located just inside the main entrance. There is an information desk that provides assistance and directions if required. The League of Friends Shop and Windsor Shop provide refreshments and there are vending machines available.
There is also a Pharmacy counter and two accessible toilets located nearby. The Atrium area also provides seating and public telephones.
Accident and Emergency Entrance
This entrance also has a double set of automatic doors that slide open on approach. There is level access leading to the doors however there is a small lip at the threshold.
Accident and Emergency Waiting Area
The waiting area has plenty of seating and there are vending machines providing refreshments. The reception desk has a low level counter and there is an induction loop that is well signed. There is also an accessible toilet located in the waiting area.
Maternity Entrance
The Maternity Entrance has a wide automatic single door that slides open on approach. There is level access leading to the doors and the threshold is level.
Maternity Waiting Area
The lobby area just inside the entrance doors has a good amount of seating and the Little Extras Café which provides refreshments.
Car Parking and Drop Off
There are accessible parking spaces located close to the main entrance and a drop off area nearby. On the other side of the hospital there near to the maternity entrance there are more accessible spaces provided. There is also a drop off area located directly outside of the maternity entrance.
Public Transport
There is a bus stop located inside the hospital grounds which provides good access to the different entrances.
Staff
The staff at the hospital are helpful, friendly and available to offer assistance where necessary.
