Accommodation

The hotel offers 2 accessible rooms all located on the ground floor and only a short distance from the reception desk. The rooms all offer en suite bathrooms with a toilet and bath, there is also a shower facility available in the bath.

Car Parking/Drop Off

The hotel has a small car park to the rear of the building with limited spaces. There is one accessible space located next to the ramp that leads up to the rear entrance.

Public Transport

There are two bus stops located very close to the hotel and the front entrance. The route to the hotel from bus stop SW is not accessible as one of the kerbs on the zebra crossing has not been dropped enough and would not be suitable for the passage of wheelchairs. The route to the front entrance from bus stop SQ is accessible.

Access into Hotel

The hotel is located on Southwark Street which is level. There is an entrance at the front and the back of the hotel. The entrance at the front which is the closest to the transport points has automatic sliding doors that open on approach. The entrance at the rear which is next to the car park is accessed by steps or a ramp and has a manual single door that opens outwards.

Circulation

The general circulation around the hotel is good, corridor widths are adequate and door widths are suitable for a number of users. There are steps leading from the front entrance to the reception desk, however there is also a platform lift adjacent.

Reception

The reception desk is well lit and there is a seating area located close by. There is an induction loop provided which is well signed.

Bars

The Loft Bar is located close to the reception desk and the route to it is level. There is an adequate level of lighting and seating provided. The bar is quite high however staff are on hand to serve guests at the table.

Restaurants

The Loft Restaurant is located just past the bar area and provides table service. The entrance is open plan and the route is level from reception. The level of lighting is sufficient and there is plenty of seating provided. There is an upper seating area which can only be accessed via steps however all services can be provided on the lower level.

Health Club

There is a gym located on the lower ground level which can be accessed via the lift that is located next to the reception desk. The gym itself is next to the lift as you exit it and there is a small lip at the the threshold of the entrance.

Business Facilities

There are 4 meeting rooms available, two of which are on the ground level and two are located on the lower ground floor. The two on the ground floor are located close two the reception desk and there is good access into each. The rooms located on the lower ground floor can also be accessed via the lift but with staff assistance as the only route available goes through staff only areas.

Staff are very friendly and always on hand to give assistance, both in the restaurant and the reception area. There are also a number of different languages spoken.
