The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) is going through a period of great change. As part of this we are reviewing our property estate to ensure that we are providing facilities suitable for policing in the 21st century. This will also serve to create a more pleasant environment for the public when they contact the MPS and also to improve the accessibility of these contact points with the police for customers with disabilities.
This means providing better bases, closer to the communities the MPS serves, with newer facilities to allow a more accessible, flexible and effective police service for London. We are therefore selling some buildings, acquiring new ones and making physical changes to others including our Police stations and Safer Neighbourhoods Bases.
The MPS are now working with Direct Enquiries to provide detailed information regarding the access and facilities at these buildings and bases where the public can contact and interact with the police. This information will list details of all of the front desks in London along with the details and locations of all the Safer Neighbourhoods bases being opened across London.
We are working hard to make our stations and Safer Neighbourhoods bases as accessible as we can, however, should you discover that a station / Safer Neighbourhoods base has not met your requirements, please use the feedback link on this page to let us know.
