The Mitre was first opened in the 1700's as a coffee shop. It closed down briefly as a result of a fire and re-opened in 1827 as a coaching inn and has been serving the people of Greenwich and its visitors ever since! It is now recognised by the English Heritage as an important historical site in south-east London.

Function Room ~ The Function Room is fully air-conditioned and can accommodate up to 80 guests theatre style or 60 guests boardroom style. Our staff will be only too pleased to organise any special function, either formal or informal. Menus can be specially tailored to your needs ranging from finger buffet to full sit-down meals. Alternatively, you may choose from a selection of carefully planned menus which include a range of vegetarian options.
Conservatory ~ If you are looking for a smaller but unique venue for a birthday party, leaving party or just a small get-together, then our conservatory is the ideal place. Catering can be arranged on request and up to 30 guests can be seated in private.
Our Bedrooms ~ All our rooms have en-suite facilities and have direct dial telephones, TV and tea/coffee making facilities. For your peace of mind there are security cameras on all levels of the hotel, a night porter service, car parking facilities and a lift to all floors.
For our residents there is a private lounge where they can enjoy a quieter drink if they wish. Please note that we operate a strict non smoking policy in all upper floor rooms.
