Accommodation

The hotel offers two accessible rooms both located on the ground floor close to the reception desk. An extra bed can be placed in the rooms on request. Both rooms have en-suite bathrooms which incorporate an accessible bath and toilet. There is also a shower facility in the bath with an adjustable shower head.

Car Parking/Drop Off

There is a small car park located outside of the hotel which has four accessible spaces. There is a dropped kerb close to these spaces providing access to the level pavement outside the hotel entrance.

Public Transport

There is a bus stop located on Western Avenue however the route to the hotel is not very accessible as it involves going over a speed hump and using the vehicle access route into the car park.

Access into Hotel

The hotel is located on Western Avenue just off the A40. The entrance is located next to the car park and there is level access leading to the door. Entry to the hotel is gained via a single door that opens outwards.

Circulation

The circulation around the hotel is good, the doors are wide enough for all users and the corridor widths are adequate. There are steps leading to the first floor but both the accessible rooms are on the ground floor.

Reception

The reception desk is located just inside the entrance door and the counter is 1.1m high. The area is quite small but there is seating provided. The lighting at the desk and the surrounding area is adequate. There is also an induction loop which is well signed.

Restaurants

The hotel does not have a restaurant however there is one next door which has a level access route from the reception desk.

Staff are always on hand to offer assistance to guests in any way possible. There are a number of languages spoken including Italian, Russian and Sri Lankan.
