Public Transport
The Hotel is located directly opposite Marylebone Railway Station. Buses and taxis stop on Melcombe Place outside the Station providing good transport links to surrounding areas.
Car Parking/Drop Off
The Hotel benefits from Underground Car Parking. There is a valet service in operation at the Car Park as there is no pedestrian access.
It is possible to Drop Off in a service road to the front of the Hotel. The service road runs parallel with Marylebone Road and is approached from the junction of Harewood Avenue. It is also possible to Drop Off directly outside the North Entrance on Melcombe Place where a dropped kerb provides level access onto the pavement.
Access into Entrance
There is a direct Entrance into the Hotel from Melcombe Place. The Entrance is directly opposite Marylebone Railway Station. Entry is via double doors which open both in and out. The Entrance is approached via a slight ramp up from the pavement.
The Main Hotel Entrance is on level access and accessed via a service road running alongside Marylebone Road. The Entrance doors are manual double doors which open both in and out.
Reception
The Reception Desk is located just inside the Main Hotel Entrance on Marylebone Road to the left. Many of the Reception staff at the Hotel are multi lingual. Languages spoken include French, German, Italian, Malaysian, Portugese, Swedish, Spanish, Thai, Chinese, Korean, Arabic, Indonesian, Norwegian, Danish, Estonian, Hungarian, Africaans and Monte Negrin.
Bars
The Mirror Bar is located on the Ground Floor of the Hotel and is open Monday - Saturday from 4.00pm - 2.00am (last orders 1.20am), Sunday from 4.00pm - 12.30am (last orders 12.15am)
The Mirror Bar serves cocktails, Cognac, spirits and Champagne.
Restaurants
The Winter Garden is situated on the Ground Floor of the Hotel. There is level access onto the terrace from both sides. The Winter Garden provides Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon tea, and Evening Meals with either buffet or table service provided.
The Winter Garden offers an extensive menu which varies to reflect fresh produce of the seasons.
Twotwentytwo Restaurant and Bar is located on the Lower Ground Floor and is accessible by lift. The Restaurant offers a largely European based menu which changes to reflect fresh produce of the season.
The Restaurant is open from 11:30am until 11:30pm providing Lunch and Dinner. Table service is standard. There is also the Gazebo which is located on the Mezzanine Level of the Hotel and can be accessed by lift. The Gazebo offers light refreshments and afternoon tea.
Accommodation
The Hotel has 4 accessible bedrooms with a further 3 offering partial adaptations. Facilities include generous circulation, widened access points, a desk area, television with teletext. Plug in assistance alarms, vibrating pagers and pillows are also available.
All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms and toilet facilities. Accessible rooms all have baths and toilets with appropriate grab rails. Additional transfer aids such as seats can be made available. It should be noted that standard rooms at the Hotel have a walk in shower, however grab rails are not present.
Access To All Areas
These are 4 passenger lifts at the Hotel offering access to all floors. There are 3 lifts located in the Main Reception Lobby close to the Main Entrance and 1 lift is provided adjacent to the North Entrance on Melcombe Place. The upper floors can also be accessed by stairs as an alternative to the lifts.
Areas of the Hotel that cannot be accessed by the lifts have had ramps installed beside the existing staircases. Circulation around the Hotel is generally good. The corridors are wide and the internal doors are held open on automatic fire devices.
Business Facilities
The Hotel has general Meeting and Functions Rooms ranging from a capacity of 4 up to 700 people. Rooms are located mainly on the first 3 floors of the Hotel and all are accessible by lift. Seating plans and table layout can be tailored to suit individual requirements.
The Information Technology Centre is located on the Ground Floor of the Hotel and provides access to computer equipment. The majority of the Hotel provides Wi fi internet access.
Facilities
The Concierge is located in the Reception Lobby and offers valet parking, assistance with baggage, travel arrangements and entertainment plans.
The Hairdressing Salon is located on the Mezzanine Level and is accessible by lift. The toilets are located on most floors of the Hotel and have larger cubicles incorporating accessible toilet facilities.
Health Club
The Health Club is located on the Lower Ground Floor and is accessible by lift. Beauty and Therapy Treatments are provided in private rooms. There is a Relaxation Room, Steam Rooms, Sauna, Gym and Pool all available with level access and dedicated accessible changing room and toilets. The Gymnasium is located in the Health Spa and there is level access to all areas.
