Public Transport
Regents Park London Underground Station is located approximately 665 metres away on the Bakerloo Line. Buses stop frequently along Portland Place approximately 300 metres from the Hotel and also on Regent Street to within 250 metres, providing good links to surrounding areas.
Car Parking/Drop Off
There is a Public Car Park situated on Queen Anne Mews within 150 metres of the Main Hotel Entrance. Valet parking can be arranged by concierge.
There is a service road immediately outside the Main Hotel Entrance providing a safe Drop Off area.
Access into Entrance
There are steps leading up to the Main Hotel Entrance on Portland Place, but there is a platform lift located to the left of the steps at the Main Entrance.
There is a direct External Entrance into the Hotel and Health Club via one step up from Langham Place. A portable ramp can be requested from concierge to bypass the step.
Reception
The Reception Desk is situated to the right when entering the building at the Main Entrance. An induction loop is provided at Reception and currency can be exchanged at the Desk. Languages spoken by some staff at the Hotel include German, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi, Afrikaans, Italian, Lithuanian and Danish.
A separate desk area is provided for guest relations. Reception services are also available at this desk which is at an accessible height.
Bars
Palm Court Lounge and Cocktail bar is situated on the Ground Floor of the Hotel. Palm Court is famed as the place where the tradition of afternoon tea was born over 140 years ago, an indulgence that lives on today. Palm Court is open daily from 10am until 10pm. Afternoon tea takes place between 3pm and 5pm.
The Artesian Bar is located on the Ground Floor of the Langham London Hotel. Table service is provided and a wide range of beverages and bar meals are available all day. Artesian's brand new Cocktail Grazing menu is perfect for those who wish to taste all the delights. It's a stylish way to become a cocktail mastermind in just one evening.
Restaurants
The Landau Restaurant provides an a la carte or set menu dining with table service for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. A private dining area is available. The Restaurant is located on the Ground Floor, level access is provided by lift from within the main Hotel. There is also a direct external entrance via steps from Portland Place.
Accommodation
With 380 elegant rooms, The Langham London has many options to please both business and leisure travellers. The Hotel has four accessible bedrooms with en suite bathrooms which are located on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors. All have accessible wardrobes, desks, televisions with subtitles, excellent circulation and assistance alarms. Accessible En suite bathrooms have toilets with appropriate grab rails, sinks and assistance alarms.
All refurbished accessible bedrooms have a walk in shower with appropriate grab rails and tip up seats. Some partially adapted rooms are available which have standard baths with grab rails. A powered bath transfer seat is available.
Access To All Areas
The platform lift at the Main Entrance provides direct access from street level into the Reception Lobby.
The passenger lifts in the Hotel offer access to all floors. The lifts have raised buttons at an accessible height and audible announcements. Stairs can be used as an alternative to the passenger lifts to access all floors of the Hotel. Corridors around the Hotel are generally of sufficient width with good circulation. Internal doors where present are held open on automatic fire closers.
Business Facilities
The Hotel Business Centre is located on the Ground Floor. Computers are available providing internet access and full business support services are offered including faxing and photocopying.
There is direct access to the main function areas of the Hotel via steps at 1B Portland Place. Level access to these areas is provided from within the main Hotel. There are several Conference and Function Rooms throughout the Hotel all of which can be accessed by lift, function rooms range in size from the grand ballroom with a capacity for several hundred down to smaller offices and boardrooms. Room layouts and seating plans can be tailored to meet individual requirements.
Facilities
The Concierge Desk is located in the Reception Lobby. Staff can provide assistance with baggage handling, valet parking, entertainment and travel arrangements.
There are accessible toilet facilities within both the male and female toilets which are located on the Lower Ground Floor. The accessible toilets can be accessed by the passenger lift.
Health Club
The Langham Health Club provides a range of fitness facilities and extensive Beauty and Therapy treatments. The Health Club benefits from a swimming pool and associated steam, sun bed, relaxation and sauna rooms. A lift within the Health Club provides visitors with access to all areas. There is direct access by lift to the pool side and a hoist is available for accessing the pool.
The Hotel has a well equipped Gymnasium offering state of the art gym equipment. There are free weights available and the gym has plasma televisions to keep guests entertained.
