Accommodation

There are eight accessible bedrooms which are located two per floor on floors two to five. The rooms are the closest rooms to the lift upon entering the bedroom corridor. The bedrooms have an accessible en-suite which has a bath.

Car Parking/Drop Off

There is no car park at the hotel however there is a public car park within 10 minutes walk of the hotel. The drop off point is located directly outside of the hotel on Harrow Street. The hotel entrance is across the pavement on level access. Care should be taken when being dropped off as the hotel is in a busy area.

Public Transport

The nearest bust stop to the hotel is on St Botolph Street. This is a principle bus stop. The hotel is within three hundred metres of the bus stop and is on level access.

Access into Hotel

The hotel entrance is level with the pavement on Harrow Street. There is a slight incline into the hotel lobby via two sets of automatic doors. Night access requires a key card to be inserted into a door control which is located to the right of the door. An intercom is available at this point should assistance be required.

Circulation

Once inside the hotel there is a platform lift and a passenger lift to the upper floors. Whilst the hotel is compact, the main public areas are bright and spacious and afford a good level of circulation.

Reception

The reception faces the main entrance and is located a short distance inside the reception lobby. Whilst the counter is not of an accessible height staff will assist customers unable to use the reception in the lobby area. A portable chip and pin machine is available and an induction loop facility will be available shortly.

Bars

The Café bar is located on the first floor which can be accessed via a platform and passenger lift from the ground floor and a passenger lift from all other floors. The bar is part of the restaurant and therefore shares the same seating area. Although this is a small bar/restaurant this is bright room with a good degree of circulation. Staff assistance is also available.

This is a compact hotel with friendly staff. There are at least two staff on duty at all times should assistance be required. A range of languages are spoken at the hotel however owing to shift patterns it is advisable to contact the hotel in advance should a specific language be required.
