Car Park and Drop Off
Short and medium stay Car Parking is available near to the Main Airport Terminals. Long stay parking is available via a free bus transfer service.
There are bus stops outside terminals 1 & 2 serving all surrounding areas. All bus stops have shelters and seating available. There is also a taxi rank opposite the terminal which serves customers for the Airport.
Access at Entrance
The nearest entrance to the Visitors Centre is Terminal 2 Arrivals. This entrance is located near to bus stops serving long stay Car Parks and local surrounding areas.
The access to the Visitor Centre Entrance is via an open plan entrance with no doors present. The width of the opening is of a sufficient width to be accessible for all users. The second entrance is similar to this one, however there are two steps leading up to it. The stepped Entrance is situated on the opposite side of the Visitor Centre.
The Visitor Centre is open everyday from 7am to 8pm including Christmas Day and New Years Day. Extensive information is available regarding local and national transport links and tourist attractions.
The Visitor Centre and Gift Shop provide services to passengers using Birmingham Airport. These services include free local bus and train timetables, information about onward travel connections, adjoining counties motorway and travel connectors and extensive information regarding Birmingham's visitor attractions.
Accommodation information is readily available to assist with ongoing travel arrangements and also long stay requirements.
The Business Point offers Internet access secretarial services and conference room hire. Internet access is available via wireless connection on your own personal computer or a stand alone PC within the Business Point. Secretarial services are available on a pay as you use basis and include; Printing from email or USB device, International and Domestic faxing, Photocopying and Laminating. There are 4 Conference Rooms available on a half day or full day rate. The rooms can accommodate up to 30 delegates theatre style and up to 20 delegates boardroom style.
