Accommodation
The hotel has six accessible rooms. All of the accessible rooms have en-suite bathrooms with accessible showers.
Car Parking/Drop Off
The YHA has no official car park but there is parking available on the street behind the YHA.
Public Transport
There are two bus stops directly outside the YHA. There is a choice of two tube stations, Canada Water or Rotherhithe which is about fifteen minutes from the YHA.
Access into Hotel
Access into the YHA is via an iron gate that has an intercom system. The route to the main entrance doors from the iron gate is level. The entrance door is a double door with vision panels that opens inwards.
Circulation
General circulation at the hotel is good, offering plenty of room to move around. Internal doors at the hotel all incorporate vision panels and are all wide enough for wheelchair users to pass through.
Reception
The reception desk has an induction loop and signage to highlight this. The lighting in the reception area is suitable for its intended use. There is also a wide range of seating available.
Bars
The Quays bar is a quiet area that is situated close to the reception with a level route. There is plenty of seating at various heights. The lighting is also suitable. The entrance to the bar is through a double door that has vision panels and opens outwards.
Restaurants
The restaurant is a quiet area that has a buffet self service counter that is suitable for a wheelchair user. The entrance door is a single door with vision panels that opens outward. There is also plenty of seating to suit all guests and the route from the reception to the restaurant is a short level route.
Health Club
There is no health club or gym available.
Business Facilities
The YHA has an internet area which is located outside the entrance door to bar.
Staff: Languages spoken
The staff will help guests with payment , bringing food to your table and also helping with your luggage. Staff speak a number of languages including Portuguese, Spanish and Polish.
